Technical Specifications for Titanium Alloy Rods
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must adhere to the standards outlined in GB/T 3620.1. Any allowable deviations in the chemical composition must conform to the provisions specified in GB/T 3620.2 during reinspection by the buyer.
2: The diameter or side length of hot-worked bars and their permissible deviations should be in strict compliance with the standards detailed in Table 1.
3: Post hot processing, rods undergo polishing through turning, grinding, and cold rolling. The allowable deviation in the diameter of cold-drawn bars must meet the criteria specified in Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of polished bars post hot-working should not exceed half of the specified dimensional tolerance.
5: The unspecified length of processed bars ranges from 300mm to 6000mm, while that of annealed bars ranges from 300mm to 2000mm. The fixed or double lengths must fall within these ranges. The permissible deviation for length is +20mm. Additionally, the length of double scales should account for the cutting amount of 5mm per segment. Fixed or double scales must be indicated within the contractual agreement.
