The stainless steel square tube, an elegantly hollow strip of steel with a square cross-section, is known for its versatility. Stainless steel square pipes come in two primary classifications: seamless and welded (welded pipe). Based on their sectional shape, these pipes can be categorized into square, rectangular, and the more commonly used round steel pipes. However, special shapes such as semicircular, hexagonal, equilateral triangle, and octagonal pipes are also available for niche applications.
To ensure the stainless steel square pipe meets stringent quality standards under fluid pressure, hydraulic tests are performed. Pipes that show no signs of leakage, wetting, or expansion at specified pressures are deemed qualified. Additionally, crimping, flaring, and flattening tests may be conducted as per standards or customer requirements.
