Product Description
Our copper bar is an exceptional example of non-ferrous metal processing, boasting excellent processing properties and remarkable electrical conductivity. It is available in two primary types: the cost-efficient brass rod (copper-zinc alloy) and the high-copper-content purple copper rod. The brass rod, a blend of copper and zinc, derives its name from its characteristic yellow hue. With a copper content ranging from 56% to 68%, brass has a melting point between 934 and 967 degrees. Renowned for its superior mechanical properties and impressive wear resistance, brass is ideal for manufacturing precision instruments, ship parts, and gun shells. Variations in zinc content lend brass different colors, such as red-yellow with 18%-20% zinc and brownish-yellow with 20%-30% zinc. Additionally, brass produces a distinct sound when struck, making it the material of choice for eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and western brass instruments.
