Product Description
Copper bar is a premium non-ferrous metal processing bar, celebrated for its excellent processing properties and superior electrical conductivity. It is mainly categorized into two types: the cost-effective brass rod (copper-zinc alloy) and the high-copper-content purple copper rod. The brass rod, a product of copper and zinc alloy, is named for its distinctive yellow hue. Containing 56% to 68% copper, brass has a melting point between 934 to 967 degrees. Renowned for its exceptional mechanical properties and wear resistance, brass is ideal for manufacturing precision instruments, ship components, and ammunition casings. Variations in zinc content result in a spectrum of colors: 18%-20% zinc yields red-yellow, while 20%-30% zinc produces brownish-yellow. Furthermore, brass emits a unique sound when struck, making it the material of choice for eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and a variety of Western brass musical instruments.
