Titanium Alloy Rod Technical Requirements
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must adhere to the rigorous standards of GB/T 3620.1. When re-inspected by the buyer, the allowable deviations of chemical composition must align with the provisions of GB/T 3620.2.
2: The diameter or side length of the hot-working bar, alongside its allowable deviation, must strictly follow the specifications outlined in Table 1.
3: Post hot-processing, the rod undergoes meticulous polishing through turning (grinding) and cold rolling, ensuring that the diameter deviations of the cold-drawn bar comply with Table 2's stringent standards.
4: The non-roundness of the polished bar, post hot-working, is tightly controlled to not exceed half of its dimensional tolerance.
5: The indeterminate length for processed bars ranges between 300-6000mm, while annealed bars span 300-2000mm. The fixed or double size lengths must fall within the indeterminate length range, with an allowable deviation of +20mm. Each double size length should include a bar cutting allowance of 5mm. The fixed or double size lengths must be specified in the contract.
