Product Description
Copper bar is a superior non-ferrous metal processing bar, celebrated for its excellent processing characteristics and outstanding electrical conductivity. Available mainly as brass rod (an affordable copper-zinc alloy) and purple copper rod (with higher copper content), the brass rod, recognizable by its yellow color, is composed of a copper-zinc alloy with a melting point between 934 and 967 degrees for brass with 56% to 68% copper. Brass is revered for its superior mechanical properties and wear resistance, making it perfect for precision instruments, ship components, gun shells, and more. Different zinc content levels result in unique colors: red-yellow (18%-20% zinc) and brownish-yellow (20%-30% zinc). Furthermore, brass produces a distinctive sound when struck, making it ideal for a wide range of eastern and western musical instruments, such as gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and brass instruments.
