The brass rod, characterized by its striking yellow color, is composed of a copper-zinc alloy and has a melting point ranging between 934 to 967 degrees, depending on the copper content (56% to 68%). Celebrated for its remarkable mechanical properties and wear resistance, brass is the material of choice for crafting precision instruments, ship components, gun shells, and more. The varying zinc content in brass yields different hues, such as red-yellow at 18%-20% zinc and brownish-yellow at 20%-30%. Moreover, brass produces a unique acoustic signature, making it indispensable in the creation of eastern and western musical instruments like gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and other brass instruments.
