Technical Requirements for Titanium Alloy Rods
1: The chemical composition of titanium and its alloys must adhere to GB/T 3620.1 standards. Any deviations must comply with GB/T 3620.2 standards upon the buyer's reinspection.
2: The diameter or side length of hot-worked bars and permissible deviations shall conform to the provisions outlined in Table 1.
3: Post hot-processing, rods are polished via turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The diameter deviation for cold-drawn bars must align with the standards detailed in Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of polished bars post hot-working must not exceed half of the dimensional tolerance specified.
5: The unspecified length for processed bars ranges from 300mm to 6000mm, and for annealed bars from 300mm to 2000mm. Fixed or double size lengths should fit within these ranges. Length deviation is limited to +20mm, with each double scale length including a 5mm cut allowance. These lengths must be specified in the contract.
