Known for its silver-white hue and metallic sheen, the alloy-aptly named white copper-boasts infinite solid solubility between copper and nickel, resulting in a continuous solid solution. Regardless of their proportions, this α-single-phase alloy maintains its unique properties. When nickel is added to copper at concentrations exceeding 16%, the alloy's color transforms to a striking silver-white, becoming more pronounced with higher nickel content, which generally stands at 25% in white copper.
