Technical Requirements for Titanium Alloy Rods
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must adhere to GB/T 3620.1 standards. When re-inspected by the buyer, the permissible deviations of the chemical composition must comply with GB/T 3620.2 provisions.
2: The diameter or side length of the hot working bar and its permissible deviations must conform to the specifications listed in Table 1.
3: Post hot-processing, the rods undergo polishing through turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The diameter deviations for cold-drawn bars should meet the criteria outlined in Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of polished bars post hot-processing should not exceed half of the specified dimensional tolerance.
5: The lengths of processed bars range from 300-6000mm, and annealed bars range from 300-2000mm. Fixed or double lengths must fall within these ranges with a tolerance of +20mm; double lengths must also account for an additional cut amount of 5mm each. Contract specifications must indicate fixed or double lengths.
