TC21, titanium alloy is a new type of high strength, high toughness and high damage tolerance titanium alloy developed by Northwest Nonferrous Metals Research Institute. It belongs to Ti-Al-Sn-Zr-Mo-Cr-Nb(-Ni-Si) two-phase titanium alloy, which has good strength, plasticity, fracture toughness and low crack growth rate.
TC21, the raw material is TC21 alloy, and its phase changes to 950~960ºC. The original structure is mainly composed of equiaxial, spherical primary α phase, fine acicular secondary α phase and β matrix.
The nominal composition is Ti-6Al-2Zr-2Sn-2Mo-1.5Cr-2Nb, which is one of the high strength and high toughness titanium alloys with better comprehensive mechanical properties in China, and can be used for aircraft wing joint structure, fuselage and landing gear connection frame, suspension engine joint and other parts, as well as important or key bearing parts with high strength and durability requirements .
