Classified mainly into two types: the brass rod and the purple copper rod, each possesses unique qualities. The brass rod, a cost-efficient copper-zinc alloy, is named for its distinctive yellow hue. With a copper content between 56% and 68%, brass has a melting point ranging from 934 to 967 degrees. Its exceptional mechanical properties and wear resistance make it ideal for crafting precision instruments, ship components, gun shells, and more. The zinc content variation from 18%-20% results in a red-yellow color, while 20%-30% zinc imparts a brownish-yellow tone. Furthermore, the unique sound of brass when struck makes it perfect for eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and an array of Western brass instruments.
