Product Description
Copper bar is a prized non-ferrous metal processing bar celebrated for its outstanding processing capabilities and unparalleled electrical conductivity. It mainly exists in two forms: brass rod (an economical copper-zinc alloy) and purple copper rod (with higher copper content). Brass rod, recognizable by its golden-yellow appearance, is comprised of a copper-zinc alloy with a melting range of 934 to 967 degrees for brass containing 56% to 68% copper. With excellent mechanical properties and superior wear resistance, brass is ideal for crafting precision instruments, maritime components, ammunition, and more. Varying zinc content results in different shades, such as red-yellow for 18%-20% zinc and brownish-yellow for 20%-30% zinc. Additionally, brass produces a unique tone when struck, making it a preferred material for a variety of musical instruments like gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and brass instruments across both Eastern and Western traditions.
