Product Description
Our premium copper bar is a distinguished non-ferrous metal processing bar renowned for its superb processing properties and exceptional electrical conductivity. The copper bar is primarily available in two variants: brass rod (a cost-effective copper-zinc alloy) and purple copper rod (with a higher copper content). The brass rod, an alloy of copper and zinc, gets its name from its distinctive yellow hue. Featuring a copper content of 56% to 68%, brass has a melting point ranging from 934 to 967 degrees. Not only does brass boast outstanding mechanical properties and wear resistance, but it is also ideal for crafting precision instruments, ship parts, gun shells, and more. The color of brass varies with zinc content: 18%-20% zinc yields a red-yellow hue, while 20%-30% zinc results in a brownish-yellow tint. Additionally, brass produces a unique sound when struck, making it the material of choice for eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and other musical instruments, including Western brass instruments.
