Product Description

Brass rod, known for its cost-effectiveness, is a copper-zinc alloy with a melting point between 934 to 967 degrees, depending on the copper content (56%-68%). Its yellow hue and outstanding mechanical properties, including wear resistance, make it indispensable for manufacturing precision instruments, marine hardware, ammunition, and more. The varying zinc content in brass alters its color, from red-yellow (18%-20% zinc) to brownish-yellow (20%-30% zinc). Additionally, brass's unique acoustic properties make it the material of choice for creating a wide range of eastern and western musical instruments like gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and other brass instruments.
