Our Ultra-Thin Ta1 Titanium Strip, available in coil, strip, and foil forms, boasts an impressive thickness range of 10-0.1mm. Depending on your needs, you can choose between pure titanium and titanium alloy options. Thickness assessment can also be based on weight per unit area (g/m or oz/fi)-the higher the value, the thicker the material. Customizable width ensures it meets your exact specifications, although broader widths during manufacturing enhance productivity. The rolled piece's width can extend up to an outstanding 600mm, though rolling broader, thinner, and harder pieces presents a greater challenge.
Our production process for titanium coils, strips, and foils is meticulously engineered to ensure superior quality: electrode preparation → vacuum melting → forging and opening → hot rolling → cold rolling → annealing (heat treatment) → final shaping into plate, strip, or foil.
The rolling process for our titanium products utilizes advanced flat roll belt rolling technology, ensuring high productivity and scalability. Production predominantly relies on either a six-roll or a 20-roll cold rolling mill, guaranteeing the highest standards in manufacturing efficiency.
Heat treatment of our titanium coils, strips, and foils employs two main methodologies: vacuum annealing and continuous online protection annealing. Vacuum annealing treats the material in a vacuum furnace for optimal results. Meanwhile, continuous online protection annealing-an innovative method-provides higher production efficiency and superior product quality, though it requires sophisticated equipment to achieve the best mechanical properties and quality assurances.

Common heat treatment methods are annealing, solution and aging treatment. Annealing is to eliminate internal stress, improve plasticity and structure stability, in order to obtain better comprehensive properties. Generally, the annealing temperature of α alloy and (α+β) alloy is selected at 120 ~ 200ºC below the (α+β) -→ β phase transition point; Solid solution and aging treatment is fast cooling from the high temperature region to obtain martensitic α 'phase and metastable β phase, and then heat preservation in the middle temperature region to decompose these metastable phases, to obtain α phase or compounds and other small dispersed second phase particles, to achieve the purpose of strengthening the alloy. Usually (alpha + beta) alloy quenching in alpha + beta) -- - > beta phase transition point below 40 ~ 100 ºC, metastable beta alloy quenching in alpha + beta) -- - > beta phase transition point above 40 ~ 80 ºC. The aging treatment temperature is generally 450 ~ 550ºC. In addition, in order to meet the special requirements of the workpiece, the industry also uses double annealing, isothermal annealing, β heat treatment, deformation heat treatment and other metal heat treatment processes. |
