Titanium Alloy Rod Technical Requirements
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must strictly adhere to the specifications outlined in GB/T 3620.1. Any deviations in chemical composition permitted upon reinspection by the buyer must comply with GB/T 3620.2.
2: The diameter or side length of the hot-worked bar, along with its permissible deviations, should meet the criteria specified in Table 1.
3: Following hot processing, the rod undergoes polishing through turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The permissible diameter deviation for cold-drawn bars must align with the standards in Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of the polished bar after hot working must not exceed half of its dimensional tolerance.
5: The length of the processed bar ranges from 300 to 6000mm, while the annealed bar measures between 300 and 2000mm. Fixed or double-sized lengths should fall within these undefined ranges, with a permissible deviation of +20mm. The double-scale length must also account for the cutting amount of the bar, each measuring 5mm. The contract must specify the fixed or double-scale length.
