Technical Requirements for Titanium Alloy Rods
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must adhere to the standards set forth in GB/T 3620.1. The permissible deviation in chemical composition for buyer reinspection should comply with GB/T 3620.2.
2: The diameter or side length of hot-worked bars, along with their allowable deviations, must conform to the specifications in Table 1.
3: Post hot-processing, the rods undergo polishing through turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The allowable diameter deviation for cold-drawn bars should meet the criteria in Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of polished bars post hot-working should not exceed half of their dimensional tolerance.
5: The indefinite length of processed bars ranges from 300mm to 6000mm, while annealed bars are between 300mm and 2000mm. The specified or double lengths should fall within these ranges. The allowable length deviation is +20mm. The double length must also account for the bar's cut amount, each at 5mm. Length specifications should be detailed in the contract.
