Steel bars for reinforced concrete are available as straight bars or disc bars. Their shapes are categorized into round steel bars and deformed steel bars. They are delivered in two forms: straight bars and disc rounds.
The light round steel bar is essentially a smaller round steel and disk circle made of ordinary mild steel. Deformed bars, featuring ribbed surfaces, generally have two longitudinal ribs and evenly spaced transverse ribs, which may be spiral, herringbone, or crescent-shaped. These bars are identified by their nominal diameter in millimeters, ranging from 8 to 50 mm, with recommended sizes like 8, 12, 16, 20, 25, 32, and 40 mm.
