Product Description
Our copper bar stands as a premium non-ferrous metal renowned for exceptional processing properties and unparalleled electrical conductivity. It is categorized into two primary types: the economical brass rod, a copper-zinc alloy, and the high-copper-content purple copper rod. The brass rod, distinguished by its yellow hue, contains 56% to 68% copper and melts between 934 to 967 degrees Celsius. Its outstanding mechanical properties and wear resistance make it perfect for crafting precision instruments, ship parts, gun shells, and more. Variations in zinc content affect its color, with 18%-20% zinc producing a red-yellow hue and 20%-30% zinc resulting in a brownish-yellow tone. Notably, the resonant sound of brass when struck enhances its use in eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and Western brass instruments.
