Product Description
Our Copper Bar is a premium non-ferrous metal processing bar, renowned for its exceptional processing properties and high electrical conductivity. It primarily comes in two varieties: the cost-effective Brass Rod (a copper-zinc alloy) and the high-purity Purple Copper Rod. The Brass Rod, characterized by its yellow hue, is composed of a copper and zinc alloy. With a copper content ranging from 56% to 68%, it boasts a melting point between 934 to 967 degrees. Brass is celebrated for its excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance, making it ideal for producing precision instruments, ship components, and ammunition shells. The color of brass varies with its zinc content: a zinc content of 18%-20% renders it red-yellow, while a zinc content of 20%-30% results in a brownish-yellow tone. Additionally, brass produces a distinctive sound when struck, making it the material of choice for Eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and Western brass instruments.
