Product Description
Copper bar, an exceptional non-ferrous metal bar, is renowned for its superior processing properties and outstanding electrical conductivity. This versatile material primarily comes in two types: brass rod, an economical copper-zinc alloy with a distinctive yellow hue and a melting point between 934 to 967 degrees for brass containing 56% to 68% copper; and purple copper rod, which boasts a higher copper content. Brass rod is celebrated for its excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance, making it an ideal choice for manufacturing precision instruments, ship parts, gun shells, and more. The variations in zinc content create different hues, ranging from red-yellow for zinc content of 18%-20% to brownish-yellow for 20%-30% zinc content. Additionally, brass's unique sound when struck makes it a preferred material for various eastern and western musical instruments, including gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and brass instruments.
