A superalloy tube is an exceptional alloy tube designed to endure significant stress, offering superior oxidation and corrosion resistance.
We offer both nickel-based and cobalt-based superalloys. Depending on the preparation process, these can be categorized into deformation superalloys, casting superalloys, and powder metallurgy superalloys. Based on strengthening methods, we have solid solution strengthening, precipitation strengthening, oxide dispersion strengthening, and fiber strengthening types. Superalloys are crucial in manufacturing high-temperature components such as turbine blades, guide blades, turbine discs, high-pressure compressor discs, and combustion chambers for aviation, naval, and industrial gas turbines. They also find applications in space vehicles, rocket engines, nuclear reactors, petrochemical equipment, and energy conversion devices like coal conversion systems.

High Temperature Alloy Pipe Manufacturing Process

Our manufacturing process avoids or minimizes the use of aluminum and titanium in superalloys, typically utilizing electric arc furnaces or non-vacuum induction furnaces. For superalloys containing aluminum and titanium, vacuum smelting is essential to control element loss and minimize gas and inclusions. Enhanced quality is achieved through a dual process of smelting and secondary remelting, using electric arc furnaces, vacuum induction furnaces, and non-vacuum induction furnaces. Remelting primarily utilizes vacuum consumable furnaces and electroslag furnaces.
Solid solution strengthened alloys and ingots with low aluminum and titanium content (less than 4.5%) are suitable for forging. Alloys containing higher levels of aluminum and titanium undergo extrusion or rolling, followed by hot rolling and, if needed, further cold rolling or drawing. Large diameter alloy ingots or cakes require hydraulic or fast forging presses.
Highly alloyed, non-deformable alloys are ideal for precision casting, particularly for turbine and guide blades. The directional crystallization process, developed to reduce grain boundaries and porosity, ensures grains grow along one direction during solidification, resulting in parallel columnar crystals. This method maintains a significant axial temperature gradient and ensures optimal heat dissipation between liquidus and solid phase lines. Single crystal blade manufacturing processes have been developed to eliminate grain boundaries entirely.
