They exhibit exceptional high-temperature strength, superior oxidation and corrosion resistance, excellent fatigue performance, and remarkable fracture toughness. Given their unique properties and high alloy content, superalloys, often referred to as 'super alloys,' are indispensable in industries such as aviation, aerospace, petroleum, and chemicals, as well as in maritime applications. Superalloys are categorized based on their matrix elements into iron, nickel, and cobalt-based variants.
