Achieves a deeper hardened layer post-quenching and can harden with mild quenching mediums.
6. Grindability
Features minimal grinding wheel loss, high limit grinding amounts without burning, and is insensitive to grinding wheel quality and cooling conditions, reducing abrasion and grinding cracks.
7. Hardenability
Post-quenching, it achieves uniform and high surface hardness.
8. Quenching Deformation Cracking Tendency
Shows minimal volume change, slight warping and distortion, and low abnormal deformation tendencies during conventional quenching. It is also less sensitive to cracking, temperature, and workpiece shape.
