Product Description

It primarily comes in two varieties: the economical brass rod (a copper-zinc alloy) and the high-purity purple copper rod. The brass rod, distinguished by its vibrant yellow color, is crafted from a copper and zinc alloy, with a copper content ranging between 56% and 68%. It boasts a melting point range of 934 to 967 degrees Celsius. This alloy is celebrated for its excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance, making it ideal for precision instruments, ship components, ammunition casings, and more. The hue of brass can vary with zinc content: 18%-20% zinc results in a red-yellow shade, while 20%-30% zinc produces a brownish-yellow hue. Additionally, brass emits a distinctive sound when struck, making it widely used in various musical instruments, including gongs, cymbals, bells, and brass instruments.
