1. Annealing Processability
Our steel exhibits a wide spheroidizing annealing temperature range, ensuring low and stable annealing hardness with high spheroidization rates.
2. Forgeability
It offers low resistance to hot forging deformation, excellent plasticity, a wide forging temperature range, and a reduced tendency for forging cracks, cold cracks, and carbide precipitation.
3. Oxidation and Decarburization Sensitivity
Possesses high resistance to oxidation at elevated temperatures, slow decarburization rates, low sensitivity to heating mediums, and minimal pitting tendency.
4. Cutting Processability
Features high cutting efficiency, minimal tool wear, and low machining surface roughness.
5. Hardenability
After quenching, it achieves a deep hardened layer and can be efficiently hardened using a mild quenching medium.
6. Grindability
Ensures minimal grinding wheel wear, high limit grinding amounts without burning, and low sensitivity to grinding wheel quality and cooling conditions, reducing the risk of abrasion and grinding cracks.
7. Hardenability
Achieves uniform and high surface hardness post-quenching.
8. Quenching Deformation and Cracking Tendency
Exhibits minimal volume change, slight shape warping and distortion, low unusual deformation tendency, and reduced cracking sensitivity during conventional quenching, maintaining stability against quenching temperature and workpiece shape variations.
