Technical Requirements for Titanium Alloy Rods
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy rods must adhere to the standards specified in GB/T 3620.1. When re-inspected by the buyer, the permissible deviations in chemical composition shall meet the requirements of GB/T 3620.2.
2: The diameter or side length of hot-worked rods and their allowable deviations must conform to the specifications outlined in Table 1.
3: Post hot-processing, the rods are polished via turning (grinding) and cold rolling. For cold-drawn bars, the allowable diameter deviations must align with the guidelines in Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of polished rods, after hot working, should not exceed half of their dimensional tolerance.
5: The length specifications for processed rods range from 300-6000mm, while annealed rods range from 300-2000mm. Fixed or double-size lengths must fall within these ranges. The permissible length deviation is +20mm. Double-scale lengths should include a cutting allowance of 5mm per cut. Length specifications must be indicated in the contract.
