Titanium Alloy Rod Technical Requirements
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must adhere to the standards specified in GB/T 3620.1. When the buyer performs reinspection, the allowable deviation of the chemical composition should conform to the GB/T 3620.2 standards.
2: The diameter or side length of the hot working bar and its allowable deviation must comply with the provisions outlined in Table 1.
3: Post hot-processing, the rod undergoes polishing through turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The allowable diameter deviation of the cold-drawn bar must meet the standards in Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of the polished bar after hot-working should not exceed half of its dimensional tolerance.
5: The indefinite length of the processed bar ranges between 300-6000mm, while the annealed bar ranges from 300-2000mm. The fixed or double-sized lengths should fall within these ranges, with a permissible length deviation of +20mm. The cut amount for double-scale lengths is 5mm each, and the specific measurements should be indicated in the contract.
