1. Annealing processability
Our steel boasts a broad spheroidizing annealing temperature range, ensuring low and consistent annealing hardness and a high spheroidization rate.
2. Forgeability
Our steel offers low resistance to hot forging deformation, excellent plasticity, a broad forging temperature range, and a reduced tendency for forging cracks, cold cracks, and network carbide precipitation.
3. Oxidation and decarburization sensitivity
Exhibits exceptional oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures, a slow decarburization rate, insensitivity to heating mediums, and a minimal tendency for pitting.
4. Cutting processability
Designed to allow for large cutting amounts with minimal tool wear, resulting in low surface roughness during machining.
5. Hardenability
Achieves a deep hardened layer post-quenching and can be effectively hardened using a mild quenching medium.
6. Grindability
Features low relative loss of the grinding wheel, a high limit grinding amount without burning, and insensitivity to the grinding wheel quality and cooling conditions. Resistant to abrasion and grinding cracks.
7. Hardenability
Ensures uniform and high surface hardness post-quenching.
8. Quenching deformation cracking tendency
During conventional quenching, our steel exhibits minimal volume change, slight shape warping, low abnormal deformation tendency, and reduced cracking sensitivity, irrespective of quenching temperature or workpiece shape.
