Stainless steel plate is generally a general term for stainless steel plate and acid-resistant steel plate. Emerging at the dawn of this century, the evolution of stainless steel plates has provided a crucial material and technological foundation for modern industry and scientific advancements. There are numerous types of stainless steel plates, each boasting distinct properties, and over time, they have been categorized into several groups. Structurally, they are classified into four categories: austenitic stainless steel plate, martensitic stainless steel plate (including precipitation hardening stainless steel plate), ferritic stainless steel plate, and austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel plate. Based on their primary chemical composition or certain characteristic elements, they are divided into chromium stainless steel plate, chromium-nickel stainless steel plate, chromium-nickel-molybdenum stainless steel plate, low carbon stainless steel plate, high molybdenum stainless steel plate, high purity stainless steel plate, and more. Considering performance characteristics and applications, they are identified as resistant stainless steel plate, sulfuric acid-resistant stainless steel plate, pitting-resistant stainless steel plate, stress-corrosion-resistant stainless steel plate, high-strength stainless steel plate, etc. According to functional features, they are categorized into low temperature stainless steel plate, non-magnetic stainless steel plate, easy cutting stainless steel plate, super plastic stainless steel plate. The most common classification method combines structural and chemical composition characteristics: typically, they are divided into martensitic stainless steel plate, ferritic stainless steel plate, austenitic stainless steel plate, duplex stainless steel plate, and precipitation hardening type stainless steel plate, or into chromium stainless steel plate and nickel stainless steel plate. Typical applications include pulp and paper equipment, heat exchangers, mechanical equipment, dyeing equipment, film washing equipment, pipelines, and coastal area building external materials, among others.
