200 series: This series features chromium-manganese-nickel, offering distinct properties for diverse applications.
201, 202, etc.: By replacing nickel with manganese, these grades provide a more economical alternative with relatively lower corrosion resistance, making them a favored choice in China as a cost-effective substitute for the 300 series.
300 series: Known for its chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel, this series offers exceptional durability and utility for a wide range of applications.
304: This general-purpose model is synonymous with 18/8 stainless steel, renowned for crafting corrosion-resistant containers, tableware, furniture, railings, and medical equipment. With a standard composition of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, it maintains a non-magnetic character and cannot be altered by heat treatment. The GB designation for this grade is 06Cr19Ni10.
