TC19 Excellent performance at high and low temperatures Titanium Alloy Steel Bar
Titanium alloy tubes are tubes made of titanium alloys. Titanium alloys can be divided into three categories according to organization. (1 Titanium is added with aluminum and tin elements. 2 Titanium is added with aluminum chromium molybdenum vanadium and other alloy elements. 3 Titanium is added with aluminum and vanadium and other elements.) They have high mechanical properties, excellent stamping performance, and can be used for various In various forms of welding, the strength of the welded joint can reach 90% of the strength of the base metal, and the cutting performance is good. Titanium tube has high corrosion resistance to chloride, sulfide and ammonia. Titanium has higher corrosion resistance in seawater than aluminum alloys, stainless steels, and nickel-based alloys. Titanium is also resistant to water impact.
Titanium alloy rod technical requirements
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must conform to GB/T 3620.1 standards. Any permissible deviations in chemical composition shall adhere to the guidelines of GB/T 3620.2 during buyer reinspection.
2: The diameter or side length of the hot working bar and its permissible deviation must comply with the specifications outlined in Table 1.
3: Post hot-processing, the rod undergoes polishing via turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The diameter deviation of the cold-drawn bar must meet the requirements of Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of the polished bar post hot-working should not exceed half of its dimensional tolerance.
5: The indefinite length of the processed bar ranges from 300-6000mm, while the annealed bar ranges from 300-2000mm. Fixed or double sizes should fall within these indefinite lengths. Length deviations are permissible up to +20mm. The double scale length must also account for the bar's cut amount, each being 5mm. Any fixed or double scale lengths should be specified in the contract.
ApplicationTitanium alloy bars have found extensive applications across various industries, including aerospace, medical, automotive, and sporting goods sectors.
1. Aerospace field: Titanium alloy's prominence in aerospace is unparalleled, being integral in manufacturing aircraft engine blades, fuselage structural parts, and rocket engine components. Its high strength, low density, excellent corrosion resistance, and superior high-temperature properties significantly reduce aircraft weight, thereby enhancing fuel efficiency and flight safety.
2. Medical field: In healthcare, titanium alloy is instrumental in creating artificial joints, dental implants, and cardiac pacemakers. Its exceptional biocompatibility and corrosion resistance prevent allergic reactions in the human body, while also extending the lifespan of medical devices.
3. Automotive industry: The automotive sector benefits from titanium alloy in the production of engine parts, exhaust systems, and more. Its high strength, low density, and excellent corrosion and high-temperature properties aid in reducing vehicle weight, boosting fuel efficiency, and enhancing performance.
4. Sporting goods: In sports equipment, titanium alloy is widely used in golf clubs, bicycle frames, snowboards, and beyond. The material improves the performance and reliability of sporting goods while reducing weight, thereby helping athletes to achieve higher competitive levels.
