GR17Titanium Alloy Steel Bar has strong corrosion resistance
Titanium alloy tubes are tubes made of titanium alloys. Titanium alloys can be divided into three categories according to organization. (1 Titanium is added with aluminum and tin elements. 2 Titanium is added with aluminum chromium molybdenum vanadium and other alloy elements. 3 Titanium is added with aluminum and vanadium and other elements.) They have high mechanical properties, excellent stamping performance, and can be used for various In various forms of welding, the strength of the welded joint can reach 90% of the strength of the base metal, and the cutting performance is good. Titanium tube has high corrosion resistance to chloride, sulfide and ammonia. Titanium has higher corrosion resistance in seawater than aluminum alloys, stainless steels, and nickel-based alloys. Titanium is also resistant to water impact.
Titanium alloy is mainly used to make aircraft engine compressor components, followed by rocket, missile and high-speed aircraft structural parts. In the mid-1960s, titanium and its alloys have been used in general industry, for making electrodes in the electrolysis industry, condensers in power plants, heaters for petroleum refining and seawater desalination, and environmental pollution control devices. Titanium and its alloys have become a corrosion-resistant structural material. It is also used to produce hydrogen storage materials and shape memory alloys.
Technical Specifications for Titanium Alloy Rods
1: The chemical composition of our titanium and titanium alloy bars strictly adheres to GB/T 3620.1 standards. Any reinspection by the buyer will find the chemical composition deviations in compliance with GB/T 3620.2.
2: The diameter or side length of our hot-processed bars, along with their permissible deviations, are meticulously aligned with the standards set in Table 1.
3: Post hot processing, our rods undergo precision polishing by turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The permissible diameter deviations for cold-drawn bars are detailed in Table 2, ensuring high precision and quality.
4: The non-roundness of polished bars post hot processing is strictly controlled, ensuring it does not exceed half of the specified dimensional tolerance, guaranteeing consistent quality.
5: Our processed bars range in indefinite lengths from 300mm to 6000mm, with annealed bars between 300mm and 2000mm. Fixed or double lengths fall within this range, with a length deviation tolerance of +20mm. For double sizes, the additional cut amount is 5mm per cut, as specified in the contract.
