Product Description

Stainless steel square tubes are hollow steel strips with a square cross-section, aptly named. They are extensively used in pipelines transporting a variety of fluids such as oil, natural gas, water, gas, and steam. Their lightweight nature coupled with high bending and torsional strength makes them indispensable in the manufacture of mechanical components and engineering structures.
Stainless steel square pipes come in two main categories: seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes. Depending on the section shape, they can be square or rectangular. While round steel pipes are the most prevalent, there are also unique shapes like semicircular, hexagonal, equilateral triangle, and octagonal steel pipes.
To ensure the quality and pressure resistance of stainless steel square pipes used under fluid pressure, hydraulic tests are mandatory. Pipes passing these tests show no signs of leakage, wetting, or expansion at specified pressures. Additional tests such as crimping, flaring, and flattening may also be performed as per standards or client requirements.
