Titanium Alloy Rod Technical Requirements
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must adhere to the standards set forth in GB/T 3620.1. Upon reinspection, the allowable deviation in chemical composition should comply with GB/T 3620.2 regulations.
2: The diameter or side length of the hot-working bar and its permissible deviation must conform to the specifications outlined in Table 1.
3: Post-hot-processing, the rod undergoes polishing through turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The allowable diameter deviation of the cold-drawn bar should align with Table 2's provisions.
4: The non-roundness of the polished bar after hot working should not exceed half of its dimensional tolerance.
5: The indefinite length of the processed bar ranges between 300-6000mm, while that of the annealed bar is 300-2000mm. The fixed or double size length must fall within these ranges, with an allowable deviation of +20mm. The double scale length includes a cut allowance of 5mm each, and must be specified in the contract.
