Product Description

Stainless steel square tubes are hollow steel strips with a square cross-section, commonly referred to as square tubes. They are extensively used in transporting fluids like oil, natural gas, water, gas, and steam. Beyond fluid transport, their lightweight nature and impressive bending and torsional strength make them ideal for manufacturing mechanical parts and engineering structures.
Stainless steel square pipes are classified into two main categories: seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes (commonly known as welded pipes). Depending on the cross-sectional shape, they can be categorized into square and rectangular pipes. Round steel pipes are the most widely used, but there are also specialized shapes like semicircular, hexagonal, equilateral triangle, and octagonal steel pipes.
For stainless steel square pipes subjected to fluid pressure, hydraulic tests are essential to assess their pressure resistance and overall quality. A pipe is deemed qualified if it shows no signs of leakage, wetting, or expansion under specified pressures. Additionally, some pipes undergo crimping, flaring, and flattening tests based on standards or specific customer requirements.
