Product Description
Copper bar, an esteemed non-ferrous metal processing bar, boasts exceptional processing properties and high electrical conductivity. It categorically falls into brass rod (a cost-effective copper-zinc alloy) and purple copper rod (with a higher copper content). Brass rods, characterized by their distinctive yellow hue, are crafted from a copper and zinc alloy. The brass with 56% to 68% copper content melts between 934 to 967 degrees. Known for their superior mechanical properties and excellent wear resistance, brass rods are utilized in manufacturing precision instruments, ship parts, gun shells, and more. The varying zinc content results in a spectrum of colors: red-yellow with 18%-20% zinc and brownish-yellow with 20%-30% zinc. Additionally, brass's unique resonance makes it ideal for eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and Western brass instruments.
