Titanium coil - titanium strip - titanium foil is a versatile titanium plate, strip, roll, or sheet boasting a thickness range from 10mm down to an ultra-thin 0.1mm. This high-performance material encompasses both pure titanium and titanium alloy foils. Notably, the thickness is also assessed by the weight per unit area, such as g/m² or oz/ft², where a higher value indicates greater thickness. Customizable to user specifications, the width of the titanium foil can be adjusted, with wider widths enhancing productivity during manufacture. The roll body's length dictates the maximum width of the rolled foil, making it challenging to roll wider, thinner, and harder pieces. The maximum width of rolled titanium foil achieves approximately 600mm, offering precision and flexibility for various applications.
Titanium coil - titanium strip - titanium foil production method: Starting from electrode preparation followed by vacuum melting, forging and opening, hot rolling, cold rolling, and finally, annealing (heat treatment), we produce high-quality plate, strip, and foil products that meet stringent industry standards.
Titanium coil - titanium strip - titanium foil rolling: Our titanium foil manufacturing employs advanced flat roll belt rolling techniques, ensuring high productivity, scalability, and substantial output. Utilizing six-roll or 20-roll cold rolling mills, we achieve precision and quality in every production run.
Titanium coil - titanium strip - titanium foil heat treatment: We employ two primary heat treatment methods for titanium strip foil: vacuum annealing and continuous online protection annealing. Vacuum annealing involves heat-treating rolled or sheet titanium foil in a vacuum furnace, while continuous online protection annealing, a cutting-edge technology, enhances production efficiency and product quality. This latter method, albeit with higher equipment requirements, significantly improves the mechanical properties and quality of the titanium strip foil.

Preparation method

Common heat treatment methods are annealing, solution and aging treatment. Annealing is to eliminate internal stress, improve plasticity and structure stability, in order to obtain better comprehensive properties. Generally, the annealing temperature of α alloy and (α+β) alloy is selected at 120 ~ 200ºC below the (α+β) -→ β phase transition point; Solid solution and aging treatment is fast cooling from the high temperature region to obtain martensitic α 'phase and metastable β phase, and then heat preservation in the middle temperature region to decompose these metastable phases, to obtain α phase or compounds and other small dispersed second phase particles, to achieve the purpose of strengthening the alloy. Usually (alpha + beta) alloy quenching in alpha + beta) -- - > beta phase transition point below 40 ~ 100 ºC, metastable beta alloy quenching in alpha + beta) -- - > beta phase transition point above 40 ~ 80 ºC. The aging treatment temperature is generally 450 ~ 550ºC. In addition, in order to meet the special requirements of the workpiece, the industry also uses double annealing, isothermal annealing, β heat treatment, deformation heat treatment and other metal heat treatment processes.
