Product Description
Copper bar is a distinguished non-ferrous metal processing bar famed for its superior processing properties and exceptional electrical conductivity. It is primarily categorized into two types: the brass rod (an economical copper-zinc alloy) and the purple copper rod (notable for higher copper content). The brass rod, crafted from a copper and zinc alloy, derives its name from its characteristic yellow hue. Featuring a copper content ranging from 56% to 68%, brass exhibits a melting point between 934 to 967 degrees. Its remarkable mechanical properties and wear resistance make it ideal for manufacturing precision instruments, ship components, gun shells, and more. Variations in zinc content result in different colors, with 18%-20% zinc yielding a red-yellow hue, and 20%-30% zinc producing a brownish-yellow tone. Moreover, the distinctive sound of brass when struck lends itself to the creation of eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and various Western brass instruments.
