Introducing our stainless steel pipe-a marvel of versatility and engineering, designed with a hollow cylindrical structure that makes it indispensable across an array of industries. From petroleum and chemical to medical, food, light industry, and mechanical instrumentation, its applications are as vast as they are varied. Celebrated for its remarkable strength in both bending and torsion, yet maintaining a lightweight profile, this pipe is superbly crafted for creating mechanical parts, engineering structures, and even elegant furniture and kitchenware.
Our stainless steel pipe's composition spans a diverse range of series, each tailored to specific needs: Cr series (400 series) emphasizes chromium, while Cr-Ni series (300 series) integrates chromium and nickel. The Cr-Mn-Ni (200 series) adds manganese to the mix, while the heat-resistant chromium alloy steel (500 series) and the precipitation hardening series (600 series) offer specialized resistance and strength.
200 series: This series is defined by a composition of chromium, manganese, and nickel, offering a unique balance of properties.
201, 202, etc.: In this variation, manganese takes the place of nickel, which results in a reduction in corrosion resistance. Despite this, it serves as an economical alternative to the 300 series in China, gaining widespread use.
300 series: Known for its chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel properties, this series offers unmatched resilience and versatility.
304: Often referred to as the general model or 18/8 stainless steel, 304 is renowned for its corrosion resistance and versatility. Commonly found in products like corrosion-resistant containers, tableware, furniture, railings, and medical equipment, it comprises 18% chromium and 8% nickel. As a non-magnetic stainless steel, its metallographic structure remains unchanged by heat treatment. The GB grade for this steel is 06Cr19Ni10.
304 L: This variation of 304 boasts similar attributes but with a low carbon content, enhancing its corrosion resistance and ease of heat treatment. However, it has slightly diminished mechanical properties, making it ideal for welding and products that are challenging to heat treat.
304 N: A nitrogen-enriched version of the 304, this stainless steel includes nitrogen to bolster its strength, maintaining all the advantageous characteristics of the 304.
309: When superior temperature resistance is required, 309 steel outperforms 304, enduring temperatures of up to 980°C.
309 S: Infused with substantial amounts of chromium and nickel, 309 S excels in thermal resistance and oxidation resistance, making it suitable for applications such as heat exchangers, boiler components, and jet engines.
310: This stainless steel offers outstanding high-temperature oxidation resistance, withstanding operating temperatures up to a remarkable 1200°C.
316: Following 304, this is the second most widely used steel grade, primarily for its applications in the food industry, watch accessories, pharmaceuticals, and surgical equipment. Enhanced with molybdenum, it possesses a unique corrosion-resistant structure, making it superior to 304 for chloride corrosion-hence its designation as 'marine steel.' It's frequently employed in nuclear fuel recovery devices, with 18/10 grade stainless steel meeting the stringent requirements of such applications.
316 L: With its low carbon content, 316 L offers even greater corrosion resistance and ease in heat treatment. This makes it a top choice for chemical processing equipment, nuclear power generators, and refrigerant storage tanks.
410: As a martensitic (high-strength chromium steel), this type is characterized by its excellent wear resistance, though it has relatively poor corrosion resistance.
420: Known as 'tool-grade' martensitic steel, 420 is similar to the earliest stainless steel-Brinell high-chromium steel. Its superior characteristics make it ideal for surgical knives, capable of achieving a very bright finish.

Application Requirements
Automobile Industry
In the automotive sector, stainless steel reigns supreme, predominantly in exhaust systems, accounting for over half of the stainless steel used in vehicles. Ferritic stainless steel takes the lead, with the exhaust system's vital components, including the muffler and converter, largely constructed from types 409L and 436L stainless steel welded pipes. While this industry represents approximately 1.5% of the total stainless steel pipe consumption, the seamless to welded pipes usage ratio stands at about 2:1.
Petrochemical and Fertilizer Industry
The petrochemical industry is a major consumer of stainless steel pipes, with a preference for seamless varieties. Specifications commonly used include 304, 321, 316, 316L, 347, and 317L, featuring outer diameters from 18mm to 610mm and wall thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 50mm. These pipes play a crucial role in applications such as furnace tubes, material conveying tubes, and heat exchanger tubes, especially for medium and low-pressure pipelines.
Water and Gas Fluid Transport
Stainless steel pipes lead the industry in fluid transport systems due to their unparalleled corrosion resistance, outperforming traditional materials like cast iron, carbon steel, and plastic. As some of the most cutting-edge water purification materials available worldwide, these pipes and their complementary equipment set the standard for quality and performance.
Stainless steel pipes, the cornerstone of water industry applications, are perfect for processes such as water preparation, storage, transportation, purification, regeneration, and desalination. Annually, the industry demands approximately 25,000 tons of these essential materials.
Equipment Manufacturing and Maintenance
In the dynamic field of equipment manufacturing, stainless steel pipes see an annual use exceeding 20,000 tons, especially in sanitary and antibacterial variants. Crafted from premium grades like SUS304 and 316L, these pipes adhere to the rigorous standards required by the food and biopharmaceutical industries. Antibacterial stainless steel is lauded for its extraordinary blend of durability and antimicrobial traits, with increasing use in kitchen equipment, food industry work tables, medical instruments, and home accessories such as towel racks and refrigerators.
