Product Description
The copper bar, a premium non-ferrous metal processing bar, boasts exceptional processing properties and outstanding electrical conductivity. It is primarily categorized into brass rod (a copper-zinc alloy, more economical) and purple copper rod (with higher copper content). Brass rod, composed of copper and zinc alloy, earns its name from its distinctive yellow hue. Brass containing 56% to 68% copper has a melting point ranging from 934 to 967 degrees. Renowned for its excellent mechanical properties and superior wear resistance, brass is utilized in creating precision instruments, ship parts, gun shells, and more. Varying zinc content gives brass its unique colors: 18%-20% zinc appears reddish-yellow, while 20%-30% zinc turns brownish-yellow. Additionally, brass emits a distinctive sound when struck, making it ideal for eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and Western brass instruments.
