Polished Grade12 Grade F-12 Titanium Coil Sheet for Lightweight Consumer Products

Titanium coil - titanium strip - titanium foil is available in various forms including plate, strip, roll, or sheet with thickness ranging from 10-0.1mm. These can be pure titanium or titanium alloy foils. Thickness is often measured by weight per unit area (g/m or oz/fi), with higher values indicating greater thickness. Our titanium foils can be custom-cut to the width specified by users, although wider widths during manufacturing enhance productivity. The roll body length dictates the maximum width of the rolled foil; wider, thinner, and harder pieces are more challenging to roll. The maximum width of rolled titanium foil is approximately 600mm.
Production Method for Titanium Coil, Strip, and Foil: Our meticulous process includes electrode preparation, vacuum melting, forging and opening, hot rolling, cold rolling, and annealing (heat treatment), culminating in the production of high-quality plate, strip, and foil.
Titanium Coil, Strip, and Foil Rolling: The efficient manufacturing of titanium foil is predominantly achieved through flat roll belt rolling, noted for its high productivity and large-scale output. Our production primarily employs six-roll or 20-roll cold rolling mills, ensuring exceptional quality and consistency.
Titanium Coil, Strip, and Foil Heat Treatment: We utilize two primary heat treatment methods for titanium strip foil: vacuum annealing and continuous online protection annealing. Vacuum annealing involves placing the rolled or sheet titanium foil in a vacuum furnace for heat treatment. Continuous online protection annealing, a newer technology, offers higher production efficiency and markedly improves product quality. This method sets a higher equipment threshold but ensures superior mechanical properties and quality.

Preparation method

Common heat treatment methods are annealing, solution and aging treatment. Annealing is to eliminate internal stress, improve plasticity and structure stability, in order to obtain better comprehensive properties. Generally, the annealing temperature of α alloy and (α+β) alloy is selected at 120 ~ 200ºC below the (α+β) -→ β phase transition point; Solid solution and aging treatment is fast cooling from the high temperature region to obtain martensitic α 'phase and metastable β phase, and then heat preservation in the middle temperature region to decompose these metastable phases, to obtain α phase or compounds and other small dispersed second phase particles, to achieve the purpose of strengthening the alloy. Usually (alpha + beta) alloy quenching in alpha + beta) -- - > beta phase transition point below 40 ~ 100 ºC, metastable beta alloy quenching in alpha + beta) -- - > beta phase transition point above 40 ~ 80 ºC. The aging treatment temperature is generally 450 ~ 550ºC. In addition, in order to meet the special requirements of the workpiece, the industry also uses double annealing, isothermal annealing, β heat treatment, deformation heat treatment and other metal heat treatment processes.
