Product Description
5056 aluminum alloy is commonly used for riveting aluminum and magnesium alloy assemblies. There is also 5056 coated aluminum wire, which is widely used in the production of window screens and other wire products requiring good corrosion resistance.
5056 is a rust-proof aluminum alloy of Al-Mg series, which cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. The chemical composition of the alloy is basically similar to 5B05 alloy except for the low manganese content, and the magnesium content is slightly higher than 5A05 alloy, and the properties are basically similar to 5B05. The alloy has good plasticity in annealed state, good corrosion resistance and weldability.
