The distinctive yellow brass rod, composed of a copper-zinc alloy, presents a melting point between 934 and 967 degrees, depending on its copper content (56% to 68%). Celebrated for its superior mechanical properties and wear resistance, brass is the preferred choice for crafting precision instruments, ship components, gun shells, and more. Variances in zinc content lead to a spectrum of hues, from red-yellow (18%-20% zinc) to brownish-yellow (20%-30% zinc).
