The Brass Rod, with its characteristic yellow color, is made from a blend of copper and zinc, containing between 56% and 68% copper, and melts within the range of 934 to 967 degrees Celsius. This alloy is celebrated for its remarkable mechanical properties and wear resistance, making it perfect for crafting precision instruments, ship parts, ammunition casings, and more. Variations in zinc content can alter the color of brass: 18%-20% zinc yields a red-yellow shade, while 20%-30% zinc results in a brownish-yellow hue. Additionally, brass produces a distinctive sound when struck, which is why it is a popular choice for Eastern and Western musical instruments such as gongs, cymbals, bells, and brass instruments.
