Technical Specifications for Titanium Alloy Rods
1: The chemical makeup of titanium and its alloy bars is required to align with the GB/T 3620.1 standards. Any deviations in the chemical composition are permissible only if they comply with the GB/T 3620.2 guidelines during buyer reinspection.
2: The diameter or side length of hot-worked bars, along with any allowable deviations, must strictly adhere to the specifications presented in Table 1.
3: After undergoing hot processing, the rod is refined through turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The diameter variation of the cold-drawn bar must conform to the stipulations of Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of a polished bar, following hot-working, should not surpass half of its dimensional tolerance.
5: The unspecified length of processed bars spans from 300 to 6000mm, whereas annealed bars range from 300 to 2000mm. Fixed or double sizes must fit within these unspecified lengths, with permissible length deviations up to +20mm. Double scale lengths must consider the bar's cut allowance, with each cut being 5mm. Any specified fixed or double scale lengths should be clearly indicated in the contract.
