Titanium Alloy Rod Technical Requirements
1: The chemical composition of titanium and titanium alloy bars must adhere to the stringent guidelines of GB/T 3620.1. Any deviations in chemical composition, when re-inspected by the buyer, must comply with the standards set forth in GB/T 3620.2.
2: The diameter or side length of hot-worked bars and their allowable deviations must meet the specifications outlined in Table 1.
3: Following hot processing, the rod is polished through turning (grinding) and cold rolling. The allowable deviation in diameter for cold-drawn bars must comply with the specifications in Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of polished bars post hot-working must not exceed half of their dimensional tolerance.
5: The variable length of processed bars ranges from 300-6000mm, and for annealed bars, it is 300-2000mm. Fixed or double sizes must fall within these ranges. The length deviation allowance is +20mm; the double scale length must also account for the bar's cut amount, each being 5mm. The fixed or double scale length must be specified in the contract.
