Product Description
The copper bar, a distinguished non-ferrous metal processing bar, boasts exceptional processing properties and superior electrical conductivity. It primarily comprises brass rod (copper-zinc alloy, cost-effective) and purple copper rod (higher copper content). The brass rod, a fusion of copper and zinc alloy, is named for its characteristic yellow hue. With a copper content ranging from 56% to 68%, brass offers a melting point between 934 to 967 degrees. Renowned for its excellent mechanical properties and wear resistance, brass is ideal for manufacturing precision instruments, ship components, gun casings, and more. The zinc content influences its color, with 18%-20% zinc resulting in a reddish-yellow hue, while 20%-30% zinc yields a brownish-yellow shade. Additionally, brass produces a distinctive sound when struck, making it a preferred material for crafting Eastern gongs, cymbals, bells, horns, and various Western brass instruments.
