Technical Specifications for Titanium Alloy Rods
1: The chemical composition of titanium and its alloy bars must meet the standards specified in GB/T 3620.1. Any permissible deviations in the chemical composition should adhere to the guidelines detailed in GB/T 3620.2 during buyer reinspection.
2: The diameter or side length of the hot-worked bar along with its allowable deviations must conform to the specifications listed in Table 1.
3: Post hot-processing, the rod undergoes polishing through turning (grinding) and cold-rolling. The allowable diameter deviations for cold-drawn bars should align with the provisions in Table 2.
4: The non-roundness of polished bars post hot-working should be no greater than half of their dimensional tolerance.
5: The length of processed bars ranges from 300-6000mm, while annealed bars range from 300-2000mm. Lengths can be fixed or double-sized within the indefinite range. The allowable length deviation is +20mm. For double-sized lengths, an additional cut amount of 5mm per length should be considered. Specific lengths must be indicated in the contract.
